Muenster Platform

The platform near Muenster Cathedral offers some of the best views of Berne and the River Aare. These were taken on a rainy Sunday morning with a mobile phone camera. This page is in progress..

It is said Einstein would have walked across the bridge daily to get to and from his apartment and the Patent Office where he worked. You can also see a glassy-roofy area in the centre of the photo, this is a pleasant (perhaps a bit posh) cafe called Schwellenmaetteli, where you can sit back and relax to the sounds of the Aare.
